Promote Public Sharing of KU Scholarly Output

Center for Digital Scholarship staff can:


  • Submit articles, papers, presentations, and other scholarly works into KU ScholarWorks on behalf of faculty and graduate students
  • Provide expert advice on retaining copyrights for open sharing of scholarly output
  • Maintain documentation and provide training for self-service posting of items into KU ScholarWorks
  • Advocacy for Open Access issues:  CDS staff advocate to the scholarly community on Open Access issues, including retention of author rights to scholarly output, open dissemination of knowledge through the KU ScholarWorks and Journals@KU repositories, and presentations to members of the KU community.
